Winters' Well Elementary School

Good morning, school will be in session at all sites today Nov 20th. Transportation will be operating as usual. Please disregard any fake postings or letters that may be circulating. Thank you and we look forward to seeing your students on campus.

Good afternoon, in collaboration with Maricopa County Flood and the National Weather Service we will be cancelling school for TVHS, RFMS, and WWES tomorrow November 19th. This will include all student services, the district office, and transportation department. TES and DSES are not being impacted by flooding and will continue to have their regular schedule. However, no transportation will be provided. Please plan accordingly. Thank you

Per Maricopa Country Sheriff's Office school has been cancelled for TVHs, RFMS, and WWES. Other schools will resume normal operating hours. Please be safe if you are in a flooded area.

With today's weather and delayed start, Frio's Pops will not be available for sale during lunches today. We are sorry, but we will be back on schedule in December.

Huge congratulations to Ms. Anthony from Winters' Well Elementary and Mr. Unabia from Desert Sunset School for completing the rigorous Northern Arizona University's Institute for Native-Serving Educators (INE) program!

Since before April, these dedicated educators have been deepening their knowledge of cultural differences to better support our Native American students. They concluded the program by presenting their student-focused projects with slide shows and poster sessions.

Thank you, Ms. Anthony and Mr. Unabia, for investing in cultural understanding and making our classrooms stronger!

We have one week left for our Butter Braids fundraiser. Order forms and money are due November 14th. Online orders also need to be in by November 14th. Thank you for all your support!

The fundraiser will run from October 31st through November 14th, with delivery and pick-up scheduled for December 9th—just in time for the holidays!
