Attention current 5th through 7th graders who will be attending Ruth Fisher Middle School next year. The RFMS VEX Robotics team will be holding tryouts for the 2025-2026 season on Monday, June 2nd. VEX Robotics is a competitive robotics program that starts in June and if all goes well, ends in May of 2026. We have a couple of openings for the new season and are searching for dedicated and motivated students that are interested in STEM. In VEX Robotics, we design, build, program, and test robots to compete against other robots from around the state, country, and world. This club is a significant time commitment. Students can expect to spend 500-700 hours over the course of the year at school outside of normal school hours. Practice is usually 3+ nights a week, several all-day Saturdays, and possibly trips to Iowa, Missouri, and China, as well as our normal competitions around the state. If your student would like to try out for this opportunity and can meet the demands of this club, we would like to encourage them to come to tryouts.

Kindergarten Camp!

Reminder: Early Release Day, Wednesday, May 14
Student dismissal at 11:15 AM
