Pick Up Procedures at Winters’ Well

Welcome to our new school year!

Student pick up procedures at end-of-day dismissal will largely remain the same as last year,

Dismissal time is 3:00 PM on regular school days. Students will be kept together as grade level groups in our gym / cafeteria next door to our front office until a parent or documented emergency contact is identified or recognized.

Preferred pick up procedure is for parents of all grade levels to remain in the car and drive in the right hand pick up lane along the school. Students will be released to meet parents in their cars as the parents are identified. The left hand lane is for drive-through and parking only - no stopping.

Parents may park and pick up students at the gym / cafeteria door. Please stay out of the staging area designated by stanchions outside the door to allow students and staff movement space.

Doors will be opened for release at 3:00 PM. No student will be dismissed until 3:00 PM with the exception of our STC program, which will meet immediately outside our front office for pick up at 2:50 PM.

Handicapped parking is always reserved for handicapped persons. Proper placards are required for handicapped parking for any amount of time.

Please note the one-way directional arrows through the parking lot.

Transportation changes are not able to be accommodated after 2:15 PM and must be done through the front office and not directly with the teacher.

Thank you!

Procedimientos de Recogida en Winters’ Well
¡Bienvenidos a nuestro nuevo año escolar!
¡Gracias!

New Drop Off Procedures at WWES

Welcome back, Scorpion Families! We are very much looking forward to our first day of school on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Please, note some changes to our drop off procedures:

Students will no longer be entering the campus through our cafeteria/gym. The new drop off location will be through our entry gate to the east playground for 1st - 5th graders and our kindergarten playground gate for kindergarten and STC students. This will allow for students to have social and recess time prior to the start of our academic day.

Students are encouraged to be dropped off along the sidewalk on the right side of the drive-in lane prior to approaching the playground gate. Please note that drop off may only occur off the right lane. The left hand lane is intended for drive through and parking only - no stopping.

Students may not be dropped off from the left drive through lane and may not cross the parking lots unaccompanied. Parents may park and walk their children to the entry gates, but may not enter the campus through the playground gates. This includes kindergarten parents.

Playground gates will be opened at 6:30 AM. There is no supervision prior to 6:30 AM and students will not be allowed on the campus prior to that time. The academic day begins at 7:00 AM. At 7:00 AM the entry gates will be locked and students will not be admitted to the campus through these entry gates.

Tardy students must be accompanied by their parents to the front office for tardy slips and recording at and after 7:00 AM.

Handicapped parking is always reserved for handicapped persons. Proper placards on vehicles are required for handicapped parking.

Thank you so much! We look forward to a wonderful year!

¡Muchas gracias! ¡Esperamos con entusiasmo un año escolar maravilloso!
